Our founder, Tuan Nguyen, was the VP and GM at DNAnexus where he built the xVantage Group and oversaw the cloud-based implementation of award-winning solutions such as precisionFDA, City of Hope POSEIDON, and St Jude Cloud.
Before DNAnexus, he was the VP of QIAGEN’s Global Informatics Solutions where he developed bespoke solutions for QIAGEN customers and was responsible for the adoption of secondary and tertiary analysis tools.
Before that, he was the VP of Product Development and Professional Services at Ingenuity Systems. He helped the company grow from a stealth startup to one of the most successful commercial biomedical informatics companies in the world and produced the most comprehensive biomedical knowledge base, ontology, and analysis applications.

DataXight’s leadership includes veterans from DNAnexus, QIAGEN, and BioTuring, with expertise in every phase of the data-to-insight journey, including data engineering, software engineering, bioinformatics engineering, UI engineering, solution architecture, and product design.
Over many years in leadership positions within science and technology organizations, Tuan recognized a recurring need: talented, adaptable resources capable of delivering outstanding results while maintaining cost-effectiveness. To address this challenge, he developed a vast network of exceptional talent spanning the globe, particularly in Vietnam and the Czech Republic, renowned for their technical capabilities, work ethic, and cost-efficiency. Augmenting in-house teams with talent from these regions proved remarkable. Productivity increased, development cycles shortened, and operational leverage was realized.
The second recurring need is the ability to quickly harness data and mine the insights it holds. With the advancement of AI/ML, this need is more prevalent now than ever before.
